The scope of data that can be processed by the data controller

For what purposes do we process your personal data?

Based on your consent, data can be processed for marketing purposes, including profiling and analytical purposes. If consent is granted, data may be processed by Gremi Media SA (GM), entities of the GM CAPITAL GROUP and TRUSTED PARTNERS.

Your data will also be processed for the purpose of providing services by Gremi Media SA/entities of the GM CAPITAL GROUP.

In addition, your data can also be processed to match the content of websites to your interests, to detect bots and frauds, for statistical measurements and to improve services of Gremi Media SA and GM CAPITAL GROUP.

How long do we store your data?

Your personal data will be processed for marketing purposes until you withdraw your consent to such processing.

Within the scope of services provided by Gremi Media SA your data will be processed for the period in which those services are provided and, in justified cases, after they are ceased but only if it is allowed or required by the law, e.g. processing for statistical purposes, billing or to pursue claims. In such case, your data will be processed only for the time necessary to achieve the relevant objectives.

In terms of matching the content of the websites of Gremi Media SA/GM Capital Group entities to your interests, detecting bots and fraud, for statistical measurements and also to improve the service, your data will be processed for those purposes until you express your objection or stop using services of Gremi Media SA/entities of the GM CAPITAL GROUP.

Trusted Partners process data for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of processing defined in the Trusted Partner's relevant privacy policy.

What are the legal grounds for processing your personal data?

The legal basis for the processing of your data for marketing purposes is your voluntary consent to data processing, including profiling (Article 6 (1) (a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC – "GDPR").

With regard to the provision of services by Gremi Media SA, your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) of GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party).

In order to match the content of websites, services, applications and other functionalities to your interests, to detect fraud and for statistical measurements, and also to participate in research on the Internet (Gemius/PBI/Google Analytics/Deep.BI research) and to improve the services of Gremi Media SA/entities of the GM CAPITAL GROUP, your data will be processed pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) of GDPR (processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller).

The requirement to provide personal data

Providing personal data for marketing purposes, including profiling and for analytical purposes is voluntary. If you do not consent to the processing of personal data provided by you as part of the use of websites, services and other functionalities, including those saved in cookie files - your personal data will not be processed for those purposes.

Providing data in connection with the services of Gremi Media SA/entities of the GM CAPITAL GROUP is necessary for the performance of the said services. If such data is not provided, it will be impossible to deliver those services.

To which recipients will your personal data be transferred?

Your data may be transferred to entities that process personal data at the request of the controller, including IT service providers, marketing agencies (also advertising agencies and their customers), research companies - where such entities process data on the basis of a contract with the controller and only in accordance with the controller's instructions.

Your data may also be transferred to entities authorized to obtain them under applicable law.

Transmission of data outside the European Economic Area

Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area.

What are your rights in relation to personal data processing?

You have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:

  • the right to access your data, also the right to obtain a copy of such data,
  • the right to request the rectification of data,
  • the right to delete data (in certain situations),
  • the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority dealing with the protection of personal data,
  • the right to limit data processing,
  • the right to raise objections.

To the extent that your data is processed on the basis of consent or as part of the service provided (data is necessary to provide the service), you can additionally exercise the following rights:

  • the right to withdraw consent within the scope in which data are processed on this basis. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing made on the basis of consent before its withdrawal,
  • the right to transfer personal data, i.e. to receive your personal data from the data controller in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

Cookies and other technologies

Gremi Media S.A. informs that it uses cookies (text files) and other technologies on its websites to record information about websites or subpages visited by the user and about the user’s activity.

Cookies are tiny portions of information saved by the browser. Cookie has NO influence on the software or hardware. Cookies are associated only with the browser of a specific device, without providing the user's first and last name (anonymous user). This information is stored by the server on the user's device, which the server can read whenever it connects to the user's device.

The term "other technologies" refers - among others – to web beacons, pixels and anonymous tags of ad networks.

Because network ads and signals must be passed to the browser directly from the ad network servers, those networks can display, edit or enter their own cookies as if the user has requested a page from their website.

In order to provide a tailor-made offer and for the purposes necessary to conclude or perform a contract with the user, and in the event of an explicit consent of the data subject, Gremi Media SA may use profiling which means a form of processing that involves the use of personal data for analyses or predictions about personal preferences and interests. Gremi Media SA does not make any decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling and significantly affecting the data subject.

-      Facebook, which places "Like" and "Recommends/ Share" buttons on the pages of our website, related to Facebook. For this purpose, the code referring to Facebook is placed on the pages. By using the "Like" button or recommending the image or sections of the page, as well as posting a comment, the user logs in to Facebook, where the Facebook privacy rules apply, available at http://pl-pl.facebook.com/help/cookies

-      Youtube, which places video clips from YouTube on the pages of our websites. For this purpose, the code referencing YouTube is placed on the pages. YouTube tracks video playback in accordance with the privacy principles available at http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/

-      Twitter, which places on the pages of our website buttons for adding entries associated with Twitter. For this purpose, the code referencing Twitter is placed on our websites. By adding an entry, the user logs in to Twitter, where the privacy policy is available at https://twitter.com/privacy

Information needed to present a matched ad or to get information about visits to advertisers' sites. In a similar way, our Trusted Partners can use cookies to determine the effectiveness of advertising. Profiling (including analyst)

Information on how to use websites that allow customizing your ads to the preferences and habits of users. Based on this information, you can create, for example, general user profiles (including age, gender, interests).

Decisions regarding the adjustment of the offer or discounts or other benefits can be made automatically on the basis of criteria such as gender, website addresses in which purchases were made, the number and frequency of purchases. Once the criteria are met, the IT system automatically sends information about the granted benefit, e.g. discount.
